Nakiisa si City Mayor Marilou Flores-Morillo sa SARILAYA – Kilos Lila (Purple Agenda Movement)

Conference na pinangunahan naman ni Ms. Meth Jimenez ng SARILAYA nitong ika-23 ng Pebrero.

Layunin ng programa na mapagtipon ang mga sektor at organisasyon na kinabibilangan ng mga kababaihan. Kasama na dito ang Calapan City People’s Council na pinangungunahan ni Ms. Doris Melgar (Pangulo ng Calapan City People’s Council) upang i-highlight ang kahalagahan ng pantay na karapatan sa oportunidad at pag-unlad sa pagkamit ng Gender Equality and Development.

Hangad din ng programang ito na maisulong ang purple agenda na siyang gabay tungo sa transformative na pamumuno, bumuo ng kapasidad at pagpapatibay ng purple governance.

Dinaluhan ito ng mga miyembro ng People’s Council, SARILAYA Chapters mula sa Barangay Lazareto, Wawa, at Calero, KALAPENYA, Rural Improvement Club, Gender and Development, at mga kawani ng Community Affairs Office mula sa Pamahalaang Lungsod.
