2024 Smart/MVPSF Calapan City Taekwondo Kyorugi Championship

Bilang bahagi sa pagdiriwang ng Kalap Festival, idinaos ang 2024 SMART MVPSF Calapan City

Taekwondo Kyorugi Championship na dinaluhan ni City Mayor Marilou Flores-Morillo nitong ika-16 ng Marso sa Calapan Nature Park, Bulusan.

Ngayong taon, mahigit 200 taekwondo players na nagmula sa iba’t ibang bayan sa Oriental Mindoro ang nakilahok sa naturang championship na ikinatuwa ng Punong Lungsod.

Bilin niya sa mga manlalaro ay ang alagaan ang sarili at galingan palagi nang sa gayon ay maabot nila ang tagumpay sa larangan ng sports.

Samantala, ang gawaing ito ay pinangasiwaan ng City Youth and Sports Development Department sa pamumuno ni Mr. Marvin L. Panahon at sa tulong ng MVP Sports Foundation, at Philippine Taekwondo Association MIMAROPA.

Ipinabatid ni Mayor Morillo ang kaniyang kagalakan sa muling pagpapatuloy ng partnership na ito para sa mga kabataan. Gayundin. binigyang-pagkilala niya sina SMI Raymund Val Padua na siyang Chairman ng Region 4B PTA, at ang naging Tournament Manager na si Coach Mario Frigillana, Junior Grandmaster.
