Calapan City College recently hosted the POPCEN-CBMS training, a comprehensive six-day event that commenced on July 8, 2024,

and will end on July 13, 2024. The training aimed to equip participants with essential skills and knowledge for conducting the Philippine Population Census (POPCEN) and the Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS). Attendees, consisting of local government personnel and community leaders, engaged in various workshops and lectures designed to enhance data collection and analysis capabilities. The event underscored the importance of accurate demographic data in formulating effective local policies and programs.
