Pamahalaang Lungsod, nakiisa sa NEDA Devolution Study

Isa ang Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Calapan sa mga napili bilang respondents sa isinasagawang Devolution Study ng National Economic and Development Authority.

Nito nga lamang ika-19 ng Pebrero, bahagyang tinalakay ng NEDA MIMAROPA, sa pangunguna ni Mr. Julius Carlo F. Hilado, EnP., ang devolution study at nakapanayam nila ang ilang konsernadong Department Heads.

Disyembre 21,2023, ibinaba ng Pangulong Bongbong Marcos ang Presidential Decree No. PBBM-2023-765-766 na nagtatakda ng mga core functions at serbisyong dapat maipasa sa mga lokal na pamahalaan. Iniatas din niya sa NEDA ang pagsasagawa ng pag-aaral ukol sa debolusyon na ito.

Ayon sa NEDA, ” The study aims to determine the budgetary allocation and expenditures of provinces, cities, and municipalities for devolved functions, services, and facilities (FSFs) using the data from the statement of expenditures (SOE) for the following line items: a) personnel services (PS); b) maintenance and other operating expenses (MOOE); and c) capital outlay (CO)’.
