Matapos ang mahabang araw ng pagtatrabaho, sinikap pa rin ni City Mayor Marilou Flores-Morillo na

makadalo sa “Gratitude in Bloom: Thanksgiving Program & Party”, sa ilalim ng temang “Propagating Success, Sowing Unity”, na nilahukan ng mga atleta, DepEd officials, teachers, coaches, at iba pa, ginanap sa Doroteo S. Mendoza Sr. Memorial National High School, nitong ika-27 ng Mayo, na bahagi ng MIMAROPA Regional Athletic Association (MRAA) Meet 2024.

Nakasama ng Punong-lungsod, Mayor Morillo sa nasabing aktibidad sina Schools Division Superintendent, Ms. Susana M. Bautista, Ms. Maritez P. Perez (Assistant School Division Superintendent), Ms. Florina L. Madrid (Chief Education Supervisor, CID), Ms. Nanette M. Macaguiwa (CES-SGOD), Mr. Allan L. Paigao (Division Education Program Supervisor, SGOD).

Binigyang daan din sa nasabing aktibidad ang pagbibigay ng cash incentive, para sa mga atletang Calapeño na nagwagi sa kani-kanilang mga nilaruang isports na pinangasiwaan ng pamunuan ng City Youth and Sports Development Department sa pamumuno ni CYSDD Officer, Mr. Marvin L. Panahon.

Pagbati ang handog ni Mayor Morillo, para sa mga atleta na sumabak at nagpakita ng angking talento na nagbigay karangalan, para sa lungsod, hangad niya na kasabay ng pagnanais ng bawat isa na yumabong sa larangang ito ay mapanatili rin nila na nabibigyang pansin ang kanilang pag-aaral.
