Calapan City is awarded as Top 1 or the Most Competitive Component City in the country in Government Efficiency Pillar and Rank 1 or the Most Competitive Component City in the country in Resiliency Pillar during the 10th Cities and Municipalities Competitiveness Index (CMCI) Summit held at the Philippine International Convention Center, Pasay City, Metro Manila.

City Mayor Marilou Flores-Morillo and DTI MIMAROPA Regional Director Joel B. Valera received the award.
