Calapan City’s BEMONC (Basic Emergency Maternal Obstetric and Newborn Care) Center, an initiative spearheaded by Mayor Malou Flores-Morillo, has successfully served 31 mothers as of August 9, 2024. The facility, which provides essential maternal care services at no cost, is part of the city’s ongoing efforts to enhance public health and support expectant mothers.
