200 bags na inbred seeds ang matagumpay na naipamahagi para sa mga Calapeñong magsasaka, sa pangunguna ng Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Calapan, sa pamumuno ni City Mayor Marilou Flores-Morillo, sa pamamagitan ng City Agricultural Services Department, ginanap sa Calapan City Agricultural Demonstration Center, Barangay Biga, nitong ika-7 ng Enero.

Tumanggap ng naturang binhing palay mula sa Department of Agriculture-Philippine Rice Research Institute (DA-PhilRice) ang nasa mahigit 100 na magsasaka ng lungsod na lubhang naapektuhan ang pangkabuhayan sa kabukiran, dulot ng pagbaha nitong nakaraang Disyembre 2024, dahil sa madalas na pag-ulan.

Naisakatuparan ang nasabing aktibidad sa pakikipag-ugnayan sa DA-PhilRice ng Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Calapan, sa pamamagitan ng City Agricultural Services Department, sa pamumuno ni Mayor Malou Morillo, katuwang si CASD Focal Person, Engr. Jasper B. Adriatico.
