Araw ng Pamilyang magsasaka 2024, idinaos sa Lungsod ng Calapan

Pinangunahan ng kasalukuyang Hepe ng City Agricultural Services Department na si City Mayor Marilou

Flores-Morillo ang pagdaraos ng “Araw ng Pamilyang Magsasaka 2024”, bilang bahagi ng pagdiriwang sa “KALAP Festival 2024: The 26th Cityhood Anniversary of Calapan”, ginanap sa Calapan City Recreational and Zoological Park, Barangay Bulusan, nitong ika-6 ng Marso.

Matagumpay na isinagawa ang nasabing aktibidad sa pangunguna ng Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Calapan, sa pamamagitan ng City Agricultural Services Department, kung saan nilahukan ito ng mga magsasaka na mula sa iba’t ibang barangay sa Lungsod ng Calapan na kasapi ng Farmers Association.

Iba’t ibang aktibidad ang inihanda ng CASD sa pangunguna ni CALFFA Coordinator, Engr. Jasper B. Adriatico (CASD Focal Person), para sa mga magsasaka, katulad ng Palarong Pinoy, Search for Gandang Magsasaka, Agricultural Plastic Bottles Collection, Maloupet R.I.C. Zumba Dance Contest, Promotional Video Editing Contest, at Magsasaka Float Contest.

Kaugnay nito, binigyang daan din dito ang pagbibigay ng parangal at insentibo sa ilan sa mga Pangulo ng Farmers Association na mahabang panahong naglingkod, kung saan handog din sa mga magsasaka ang iba’t ibang mga kagamitan, at dinoble rin ni Mayor Morillo ang mga papremyo, para sa lahat ng mga magwawaging kalahok sa bawat inihandang patimpalak.

Samantala, dumalo at nagpakita rin ng pagsuporta sa nasabing programa sina Committee Chairman on Agriculture, City Councilor, Charles O.
