Solid waste was collected during the cleanup drive conducted in the coastal area of Brgy. Mahal na Pangalan, Calapan City, as part of the activities of the #LinggoNgKabataan2023.

Spearheaded by the 𝗦𝗞 𝗙𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗻 together with the 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, this year’s activity aimed at providing the people, particularly the new generation, with a broader understanding of land- and sea-based pollution and their potential impacts on human health and ocean systems.

To help abate ocean pollution and advocate for healthier seas, 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗴𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗮𝗻, 𝗦𝗦𝗟𝗚, 𝟰𝗛-𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯, 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗕𝗼𝘆 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀, and other volunteers joined in the said activity.
