Calapan City turns pink in solidarity with Breast Cancer Awareness Month

As part of its efforts to promote Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Calapan City Hall was illuminated in a bright shade of pink on the evening of October 11, 2024 (Friday). Joining other LGUs, groups, government agencies and NGOs throughout the Philippines. The pink lights signal the city’s effort to create awareness on breast cancer, the need for early screening, and support systems in place for those suffering from the illness. This initiative from the city is also in line with a broader intention to provide hope and encourage the fight against breast cancer.
