CALAPAN LGU EXPANDS AND CONTINUES TO OFFER ENHANCED BENEFITS WITH THE NEW CITY HEALTH CARD

The Calapan LGU continues to distribute new city health cards to Calapeños with expanded benefits. In addition to free hospitalization, the cards now cover free laboratory procedures. Senior citizens who are lifetime members of the program receive free maintenance medicine, and PWDs are also eligible for free eye check-ups and eyeglasses.

During Mayor Morillo’s administration, a psychiatrist was appointed to assess mentally ill individuals, and free maintenance medicine is provided for them. To ensure that Calapeños can fully utilize their privileges, the distribution of health cards continues in barangays under the supervision of CSWD, led by Ms. Juvie Bahia.
