SSS EXTENDS COVERAGE TO CALAPAN CITY’S COS AND JO PERSONNEL AS SELF-EMPLOYED MEMBERS

The Social Security System (SSS) has extended coverage to include the Contract of Service (COS) and Job Order (JO) personnel of the City Government

of Calapan as self-employed members under the provisions of the Social Security Act of 2018. This expansion gives COS and JO personnel the opportunity to take advantage of this critical benefit.
The said MOA signing was spearheaded by Calapan City Mayor Malou Flores Morillo, hand in hand with Atty. Alejandre T. Diaz, Acting Head, Luzon South 2 Division, Imelda G. Familaran Branch Head 1, Atty. Marc Villanueva, Acting Head, South Luzon 2 Division, Legal Department, Redentor Imperial CEO II-AMS, and with our very own Mr. Edgardo Basilan, City Accountant, and Mr. Roland O. Punzalan, City Human Resource Management Officer.
