PADI WOMEN’S DIVE DAY 2024 CELEBRATION, BINIGYANG DAAN SA LUNGSOD NG CALAPAN

Mula sa inisyatibo ni City Mayor Marilou Flores-Morillo, kasama ang Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Calapan, sa pamamagitan ng Calapan City Tourism,

Culture and Arts, sa pamumuno ni Supervising Tourism Operations Officer, Mr. Christian E. Gaud, matagumpay na idinaos, nitong ika-20-21 ng Hulyo, ang “PADI Women’s Dive Day 2024 / Coastal Clean up” sa ilalim ng Calapan City Dive Tourism Program, ginanap sa Czeascape Beach Resort, Barangay Balite, Calapan City.
Ang selebrasyon para sa PADI Women’s Dive Day 2024 ay nagbibigay-diin sa mahalagang kontribusyon ng mga kababaihan sa Marine Biodiversity Conservation, kung saan ang aktibidad na ito ay hindi lamang nagpapahusay sa pag-unlad ng turismo, kundi nagpapaunlad din ng pangangalaga sa kapaligiran, pagpapahalaga sa underwater ecosystem at pagkakapantay-pantay ng kasarian.
Ang pagbuo ng eco-tourism activities, katulad ng diving sa Lungsod ng Calapan ay makakatulong sa pag-angat ng turismo at pagsulong ng paglago ng ekonomiya.
Katuwang sa nasabing aktibidad ang Fisheries Management Office, City Information Office (CIO), Blue Alliance, Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI), Batangas Scuba Academy, BidaFins Calapan Freedivers, SISIRI! Calapan City, Halcon Mountaineers, Inc.
Aktibo ring nakilahok sa nasabing gawain ang City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMD), Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), at iba pang mga HM & TM student volunteers mula sa Mindoro State University at City College of Calapan.
