Usapang Buntis – Healthy Pregnancy, Happy Motherhood, was held today to provide expectant mothers with important key education and learning. The event was dedicated to promote maternal and child wellness.
The said activity was spearheaded by City Health and Sanitation Department under the leadership of Dr. Liza Llanto – City Health Officer.
Informative sessions on micronutrient supplementation, safe pregnancy practices, prenatal exercises, and proper nutrition was just few of the points given to the beneficiaries.
“Maternal and child wellness is a top priority, and we will continue to work hand-in-hand with our health professionals in order to ensure this”. Calapan City Mayor Doy C. Leachon stated during the said event.
